Good Turn for America is a new service initiative for the BSA.
It is a way for members to focus on service and report all the great things they have already been doing.
Good Turn for America will build on Scouting's current service efforts and will also include important partnerships with other community service organizations.

Habititat for Humanity

Help Habitat For Humanity by Donating to the ReStore at:

• Lakeland Hills Family YMCA - 3rd Saturday June, July, August, from Noon - 4:00 pm
  100 Fanny Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07005
• Madison YMCA - Last Saturday June, July, August, from Noon - 4:00 pm
  111Kinds Rd, Madison, NJ 07940

Donate your new or gently used furnishings, buiding supplies, and appliances at these YMCA's. The Morris Habitat ReStore will gratefully accept your new or very gently used home furnishings, appliances and building supplies.  When considering your donation, please review our donation guidelines at www.morrisrestore.org for information about age and condition restrictions.

Below is a list of items that we are not able to accept: 

• LOOSE/MISCELLANEOUS PIECES OF HARDWARE (nails, screws, locksets). Hardware items in the original packaging are acceptable.
• TELEVISIONS (UNLESS FLAT SCREEN)                                                                            
• KITCHEN/DINING ROOM TABLES W/OUT CHAIRS
• FURNITURE WITH SLIP COVERS
• SLEEPER SOFAS
• GLASS TOP DINING ROOM, ACCENT OR COFFEE TABLES (TEMPERED GLASS WITH PROOF WILL BE ACCEPTABLE)
• SECTIONAL SOFAS
• WINDOW SHADES/BLINDS/VERTICAL BLINDS NEW OR USED
• SHOWER DOORS NEW OR USED
• TUBS USED OR NEW`
• LAMINATE BLACK/GREY ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS
• ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS WITH OPENINGS FOR SMALLER TELEVISIONS
• STEREO OR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT/VACUUM CLEANERS
• SMALL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (TOASTERS, COFFEE MAKERS, TOASTER OVENS, ETC)
• COOKTOPS UNLESS BRAND NEW NEVER USED  
• PLAYPENS, WALKERS, CRIBS, CAR SEATS, CHILD GATES, CHILDRENS TOYS
• EXTERIOR HOUSE SHUTTERS
• POWER TOOLS THAT HAVE DAMAGED AND/OR CUT POWER CORDS
• SMOKE/CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS (UNLESS NEW IN PACKAGE)
• HUMIDIFIERS
• LESS THAN 40 SF OF FLOOR TILE AND NO LESS THAN 20 SF OF WALL TILE 
• PLATFORM BEDROOM SETS
• SMALL & COMPACT AIR CONDITIONERS-NOTHING THAT IS LARGE OR NOT ENERGY EFFICIENT

The following are items that we cannot currently accept due to space constraints:

• FRAMED MIRRORS
• OFFICE DESKS (HOME & COMMERCIAL)
• CEILING FANS 
• NO SINGLE TWIN BEDS (UNLESS A CHILDS NOVELTY BED)
• EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
• USED SECTIONAL RUGS
