First the program helps book is set up to walk you through your meetings. To obtain a copy and find other helpful books, contact the Scout Shop. Next the District Round Table has a break out for Cub Scouts that has a ton of ideas + projects that will make planning your meeting a snap. This is also a great place to ask questions. Will they earn their Tiger, Wolf or Bear in time for our Blue and Gold? History of Den Meeting Made Easy - Den Meeting Made Easy was a project that started in 2006 as Den Meetings in a Box Our concept was to provide everything (or almost everything) a busy Den Leader would need to run their program. A grant from the North East Region made it possible to provide about 50 Dens in Raritan Valley District with free monthly boxes. While there were many learning opportunities, the response to the project was very positive. We had a high satisfaction rating coupled with a higher then normal retention rating for that district. This program was shared with the National Cub Scout Division where soon after the National Supply Division rolled out their verision of Den Meetings is a Box. |
